This fencer wields her pin with deadly precision in a sequence of forward thrusts, swipes, and a stationary flurry attack. Hornet's encounter with Lace mirrors the Knight's own encounter with Hornet in Hollow Knight, complete with multiple rematches.

She is a recurring boss. Avoid her flurries, dashes, and strikes by jump-dashing or pogoing. Attack after her moves. Watch for the large telegraphed circle mid-fight.
Pro Tips
- 1Keep your distance and dodge her rapid fencing thrusts by jumping at the right time.
- 2Against her, only pogo when she's grounded and attacking forward.
- 3Watch the platform edges: don't get burned by lava when focusing on offense.
- 4Similarly, when you fight her in the Citadel, look for the AOE attack and stay away from the edges. Falling will take away health.
